What we do

Who we are

We’re a small team of friendly insurance experts who genuinely love what we do, and we love it so much that this isn’t the first time we’ve done it. Members of our founding team built Tempcover all the way back in 2006, creating an entirely new category of temporary insurance. Fast forward to 2025 and we’re back doing it again, with over 50 years of combined experience helping people get safely on the road. Daycover has been built from scratch on the very latest insurance technology, so your journey is smooth before you’ve even turned the key. Welcome to Daycover. For many years annual insurance was the only option, until our previous business showed there was an easier, more flexible alternative. Back in 2006 we created the temporary insurance category, and in 2022 we sold the business.

Many thought that was the end of our story, but it’s really just the beginning. This time, better than ever.

Technology sits at the heart of everything we do. Daycover is built so that getting a quote is genuinely quick. Not ‘indicative pricing’ quick, but ‘buy it and hit the road’ quick. We’re a small team obsessed with making insurance better for everyone, and we’ll keep growing it through continual testing and the aggregation of marginal gains.
